Unfortunately my friends came through for me. Its rough when you get to much help.
My call out for some help regarding all the new mobile phones resulted in plenty of suggestions. Apparently a few of my friends spend way to much time on the internet looking at all the tech gadget blogs and keeping track of all the latest and greatest mobile phones. I had no idea that the tech world was flooding all the landfills of the world with new phones every few minutes.
Two big problems have appeared in relation to everyones suggestions. Availability and price. Kind of key in my post mobile phone bounce situation.
First thing is that some of the mobiles refrred to me haven’t even appeared in Japan the tech gadget center of the world. That means I’m not going to be seeing them in my local shop any time soon.
Second thing is the price. Since its a post-bounce mobile phone I’m not getting any discounts from my carrier. So these $500 phones are not really available since my budget is not near that level. I hate to say it but I need to find some cheap mobile phones and I need to buy them in pairs. That way once I figure out all the phones features I won’t be stuck post-bounce again. I’ll just take out the mobile’s SIM card and throw it into the new-old but cheap mobile and I’ll be all set. I think that should be part of any mobile phones companies marketing strategy. Discount on your second post-bounce replacement mobile.
