In light of my almost dead in the water Mac I started to look around for another mac. I tried my buddys wifes trick with the Ebay typos but that didn’t really help with a new machine. The shipping is crazy for some of the items. I think some people shopping online for a Mac are crazy.
Don’t they realize that we the Mac users of the world are smarter than those Windows watching druds Bill Gates lovers. Don’t you watch those get a Mac commercials and know that the mac users are much more cool and with it when compared to those PC heads.
Really the Mac commercials that Apple are running right now are great for the long time Mac owners of the world. We can finally point to the commercials and say, see we were right all along, macs are cooler. The ads work because they are simple and funny even if you own a Windows machine.
Whats even more cool and funny are all the ad spoof that are appearing. Because the ads are so simple its pretty easy to make your own and keep the feel of the original commericals. I’ve seen some pretty good ads over the last few months. The mac stoner vs the PC coke head was pretty simple but it worked because you actually think that most mac users and the guy in the commerical is a stoner.
With the type of commerical, the ones using their own actors, those really are the most creative. People have taken the time to create a Mac ad spoof but they used their own creative talents in the process. Plus they can throw it online and get some feedback from people since they have become an online phenomenon.
