Italian auto perfection

May 27th, 2007 · No Comments

Just to finish off this whole auto appreciate theme I must discuss my dream for the most overpriced piece of equipment that Italy has ever exported. Its not your latest espresso machine or some one piece $5,000 vinyl sofa.

I think every true auto fan would love to cruise down main street in a Ferrari. Just forget for one moment that most people couldn’t even afford the insurance premiums or even worse the monthly gas bill.

The thing about Ferrari is that you either get it or you just forget about it. All those people walking around town in those ferrari t-shirts, hats and jackets will likely never own one this over-priced pieces of Italian engineering. But they live for any piece of Ferrari news although year to year model changes shouldn’t really matter since they won’t be buying a car from any year.

Even more extreme is the F1 racing fan who loves the big red machine. Most of these folks can give you a complete Ferrari history lesson but unfortunately it’ll take at least one hour for the short version. Make sure you don’t ask who was the best ever Ferrari F1 driver. That conversation would require at least one long weekend or a three day pass to your local F1 grand prix event.
