As a big F1 fan I’m always looking for car stuff online. No I’m not just looking for the latest info on Hamilton vs Alonso. Pretty much anything as long as it relates to cars and translate into some speed.
So any site that contains some car videos is going to get checked out by yours truly. Its simply that stories can talk about the speed and excitement generated by car racing but videos can really translate the experience. Thats why people love those onboard car angles from NASCAR and F1 racers. You can really see the speed.
The best on board camera experience comes from any video that was onboard a rally car. Rally car driving is not huge in North America I think mostly because its very hard for someone to make a bucket of cash of the events. NASCAR is number one because the tracks and race organizations and TV networks have figured out how to make loads of cash.
One unique North Americian car racing experience has to be drag racing. The problem with any drag racing video is that the cars are going so fast it impossible to appreciate the speed that the cars can reach.
Like almost everyone else I’m also attracted to motorcycle racing but for the same reason as everyone else. the actually races are pretty boring compared to something like rally car driving. No like everyone else its the motorcycle crash that keeps me coming back. Its some very primal part of human nature that enjoys seeing a human body tossed through the air or skidding across concrete at 200km per hour.
